I did community service tutoring at Scotts Valley Middle School for 8th grade standard math, as well as high school tutoring for chemistry, math, ad physics. My highest SAT score is a 2170. I want to become a tutor because I greatly enjoy helping out those who cannot grasp school material, and because I would like a job for this summer before college. I find tutoring to be immensely satisfying and I find that I can often relate very well to the students who need help, as I am close to their age. I have taken High Level (HL) I.B. Math and HL I.B. Chemistry for two years, as well as Standard Level I.B. Physics for one year. I received a 6 in physics, a 5 in chemistry, and a 4 in math in my final I.B. scores. In the last 4 years, I have been tutoring at Cal Poly with Grade Potential Tutoring and greatly enjoy it. Having grown up bilingually with a German mother, I and also available to tutor any level of German. I recently passed the Goethe Institute B2 Exam, certifying advanced levels of German comprehension.
